Sunday's Ride
I have looked at Electra bikes since 2003 and been hooked ever since. The pristine Amsterdams, fun cruisers and my favorite, the Townies. I had a Trek for years and sold it to a co-worker recently. I've wanted a more relaxed, less aggressive riding style to cruise around my lovely neighborhood, ride to the market or bike the local trails, maybe even a quick ride downtown....I finally landed on the 2011 Electra Townie Balloon 8d...pearl coffee brown. The flat-feet technology, retro-style and modern builds. Found this beauty at Spokes Little Rock at 1001 Kavanaugh in Hillcrest http://www.spokesshop.com/ Very friendly, knowledgeable staff with a wide selection of bikes, helmets, gear and a tasty coffee selection! Thankfully they are open on Sundays 1-5 through Christmas. Owners Mat and Regina Seelinger were both very helpful. Big thanks to my Mom and Dad for going with me to pick it out and tote it home.
